1. What this covers

This notice covers the Apointly Technologies website, including accounts, demo requests, the contact form and Android APK downloads. It does not cover external services we may link to.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with Google or with your phone number (a one-time SMS code). Both methods are handled by Firebase Authentication. When you sign in we receive:

A verified Firebase user ID
Your Google email address and name (Google sign-in only)
Your phone number in international format, e.g. +2547xxxxxxxx (phone sign-in only)

We use these only to identify your account. We do not automatically link Google and phone identities; linking happens only when you ask for it while signed in.

3. APK downloads

When you download an Android package (APK) from this site we record:

Your account (the user who requested the download)
Which release you downloaded, and when
The outcome (successful, denied, rate-limited, or an error)
A request/correlation ID used for troubleshooting
Your IP address and browser user-agent, for security and abuse prevention

Download tracking records that your account requested a file. It does not prove that the APK was installed or used. We never log passwords, one-time codes, or sign-in tokens.

4. Contact form

We keep the name, email, organisation, subject and message you send, so we can respond and keep a basic record. Submissions are rate-limited and protected against automated abuse.

5. Retention

Exact retention periods are still being decided with the owner. As a draft principle: account data is kept while your account exists; download events and contact messages are kept only as long as needed for support, security and basic business records, then deleted or anonymised.

6. Who can access it

Access is restricted to authorised Apointly staff. Download event records are visible only to staff with explicit reporting permission.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use only the session and security cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms (CSRF). There are no advertising trackers on this site.

8. Third parties

Firebase Authentication (Google) verifies your sign-in. SMS one-time codes are sent through Firebase; standard SMS operator charges may apply. We will update this notice if other processors are added.

9. Your choices

You can stop using your account at any time.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting Apointly.
You can decline to acknowledge this notice; you simply will not be able to download APKs.

10. Contact about your data

Contact details will appear here once confirmed: an email address for privacy questions will be published before launch.

11. Changes

We will update this page when the notice changes. The date of the last substantive update will be shown here.
